Health and balance for the body, mind and spirit

Acupuncture clinic in Crouch End Welcome to Balance, acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine clinic located in North London. Currently we offer treatments from the clinic space above the Petter Pharmacy on the Crouch End Broadway. The pharmacy is very easy to find as it is situated near the local landmark, the tower clock.

We offer effective, safe and gentle acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine treatments. All treatments are administered by a fully qualified and insured acupuncturist and herbalist who is experienced in dealing with a wide variety of health concerns.

The ideal use of acupuncture is for prevention of health problems and for a gentle rebalancing of the body/mind system before any condition has a chance to settle in. However, it can also work on the symptoms affecting the body and mind as well as the underlying causes which give rise to these symptoms. We have been successfully assisting our clients with managing a variety of different conditions including pain and injuries, insomnia, depression, anxiety, headaches, hormonal imbalances, allergies, digestive problems, fatigue, period pain etc. We also offer treatments for conception support.

What makes our approach different?

At the Balance clinic, we believe that ‘Balance is Health’. Therefore we do our best to help our patients return to state of balance through a holistic approach. We see each patient as a unique individual and tailor the treatments to their specific needs, considering the underlying factors. We do not focus only on suppressing the symptoms, but also on finding and treating the underlying causes. Therefore you may realise that after a series of acupuncture or herbal medicine treatments not only the symptoms for which you sought treatment have improved but you also feel more energised and your general sense of well-being has increased.

We always work in partnership with patients and place a great emphasis on empowering them and helping them to take control of their health. In some cases, this can involve subtle changes in life style or employing simple techniques, such as or breathing exercises or massage of acupressure points which the patient can perform at home between treatments to increase and maintain the effect of the treatments.

Our approach can bring you many benefits including:

  • achieving results where conventional medicine has not been successful or has caused side effects
  • helping you feel empowered and in control of your health
  • helping you feel more in sync with yourself and your environment
  • stimulating your body’s natural ability to heal itself
  • preventing future health problems
